AI based gravimeters\ndeveloped in companies, laboratories and\nquantum hubs start not only to compete, but\nsurpass the best absolute gravimeters.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 For instance, Muquans, a company founded in 2012\nas a spin-off of IOGS and CNRS, employs 25 people to\nmanufacture and commercialize quantum sensors based\non laser-cooled atoms for use in geophysics, metrology\nand laser optics.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 AtomSensors, a spin-off company of the University\nof Florence founded in 2015, produce atomic sensors,\noptical clocks and atom optics components for research,\ngeophysics and space applications.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 The University of Birmingham which is leading a node\nof the UK Quantum Hub and is at the origin of the atom\ninterferometer developed by the company MSquared\nLasers.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Industrial partnerships will be made in\nfields of application of ELGAR techniques\nfor quantum computing, communication\nor instruments. Companies will bring new\ncompact sensors, transportable gravimeters,\natomic clocks and navigation systems around\n5 years after completion of the project.\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ELGAR team is made up of leaders in their respective fields, with documented records of accomplishments.
